May they believe thru You

Scripture:  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came for testimony, to bear witness to the light, that all might believe through him.  John 1:6-7

Reflection:  A teacher accomplishes his or her task by imparting to the students the knowledge that they are supposed to communicate. This is proved by the student’s performance in the exams.  Which means; the students have to learn what the teacher has taught and assimilate.

Further, the success of the teachers can be judged by the performance of these students, later on in the world and in the job they take up and the character they manifest.

Similarly, God reforms us through the promptness in which we believe in him and assimilate his message and apply in our lives.  This we further prove by our witness to this message by proclaiming through word and deed.  So, one of the hallmarks of a good disciple is the fruit they generate in making others believe in the existence and power of a living God.

Prayer:  Lord, May I always trust in your word and become your instrument of the word that is able to save those who believe your word.

DD = Dedicated Discipleship:  Come grow in the Lord with us
